FeaturesThe 24 volt DC BEKA-MAX pump is controlled by its own integral timer with adjustability for pump off time and pump on time. Grease is delivered through individual pump units to progressive distributors. A rotating charging arm in the reservoir forces grease downwards to the inlet of the pump element (maximum of 3) and via a high pressure hose to each progressive distributor. The distributors apply grease to each connected bearing, and have a pressure capability of up to 280 bar. The system can be tested, or an additional lubricating cycle can be achieved, with a manual push-button switch. The progressive distributor element is of modular construction and consists of between 3 and 10 elements; different sizes of distributor-element are provided to enable a wide variety of bearings to be greased. The modular construction of this unit enables the number of outlets to be increased or decreased simply, according to your technical specifications . In the event of a progressive distributor blockage, for example caused by excessive back pressure at the bearing, warning will be given. The design and construction of this powerful piston pump, when matched with the progressive distributors, enables it to operate reliably with greases up to NLGI class 2. Effective for ambient working temperatures between -35 degrees and +80 degrees C The system provides automatically the exact amounts of grease, and is therefore the ideal lubrication for commercial vehicles. The significant advantages of centralised grease lubrication with BEKA-MAX are as follows:
